7 HOTEL TIPS & TRICKS

  1. Call the hotel to make a reservation.

  2. Let them know you are celebrating a special occasion.  Many hotels will give you a complimentary upgrade.

  3. At check-in, tell them you are a member of a competitor’s loyalty program.  See if they will match the perks, such as a late checkout, complimentary breakfast and free wi-fi.

  4. Ask if they can accommodate a higher floor, a room with a view, or access to the VIP lounge or club floor, especially if they are not over-booked.

  5. In your room, stream shows from your phone to the TV with Google Chromecast.

  6. Use the "Do Not Disturb" sign for security.

  7. Call or email the General Manager, if the room is not up to par.  Ask for an upgrade, if not for this stay, then for the next.
