This iconic hotel opened in 1927 and has a rich history that is deeply connected to Hawaiian culture. Located along the shores of famous Waikiki Beach, the “Pink Palace of the Pacific” is the epitome of classic glamour and a highly sought-after wedding venue. It was also a favorite of author Joan Didion, who wrote about the Royal Hawaiian in her essay “In the Islands.”
